Homematic IP Radiator Thermostat - basic

Homematic IP basic radiator thermostat IP20, app control with offline mode

Homematic IP Radiator Thermostat – basic
The Homematic IP Radiator Thermostat – basic is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and actively helps you save energy. The smart controller replaces conventional radiator thermostats, which can achieve energy savings of up to 30%. The thermostat is fitted to the radiator without any intervention in the heating system and without tools. It is powered by two AA batteries, which can supply energy for about 2 years. Thanks to a preset heating profile, the radiator thermostat is ready to use straight away – and the profile can be adjusted manually at any time if needed.

Smart home made easy
The entire solution can be set up intuitively and controlled conveniently via the smartphone app. The Homematic IP cloud service takes care of configuring the individual devices. Homematic IP uses the 868 MHz radio band. Interference from Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, video streaming or other users at 2.4 GHz is ruled out. Homematic IP is suitable for homeowners and tenants as well as for new and existing buildings.

Security & data protection
Homematic IP communication is secured right from the installation of the system and cannot be manipulated. During operation, all radio packets are always encrypted and authenticated. Eavesdropping on, changing or replaying data, or any other kind of attack, is ruled out. The Homematic IP Cloud is operated exclusively on servers located in Germany. Its operation is therefore subject to European and German data protection rules. No personal data at all is requested to set up the system, and all data stored in the cloud is anonymous.

Central control via app
Wherever you are, the smartphone app lets you keep an eye on everything. Control your smart home at any time and from anywhere.

Offline mode
Many functions, such as heating profiles, time profiles or alerts via smoke alarms, are carried out even without an internet connection or if the Access Point is destroyed.

Features
