Blancpain x Swatch: the exclusive dive watch with character

The collaboration between Blancpain and Swatch has produced an extraordinary model reminiscent of the legendary Fifty Fathoms – an icon among dive watches. The turquoise case and crown are made of innovative Bioceramic, a resilient material. The Swatch logo is discreetly integrated on the left-hand side.

The dial impresses with a stylish gradient and a practical date display between 4 and 5 o’clock. For optimal visibility underwater and in the dark, the hands, indices and bezel are coated with Grade A Super-LumiNova® – for excellent luminosity.

The unidirectional rotating bezel in deep blue Bioceramic and the bio-sourced crystal underline the high quality of workmanship. Inside ticks the automatic SISTEM51 movement, which is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. A special highlight: the back shows a digitally printed lagoon landscape with the sea slug Tambja Mullineri – a true work of art for your wrist.

The case back features inspiring messages such as:
“PASSION FOR DIVING”, “OCEAN BREATH” and “PROTECT WHAT YOU LOVE” – a statement for ocean conservation and the joy of discovery. The NATO strap is made from recycled fishing nets and lets the movement show through. The pin buckle and loops are also made of Bioceramic.

The BLUE LAGOON SO35L400 is more than just a watch – it is a statement. Inspired by the maritime way of life, it combines technical know-how with design and offers an ideal mix of functionality, precision and aesthetics.

Design & materials

The case of this striking dive watch measures 42.3 mm in diameter and 14.4 mm in height. It is made of robust turquoise-blue Bioceramic, as is the crown – a resilient material. The lug-to-lug length is 48.0 mm, which ensures optimal wearing comfort.

Movement & functions

Inside ticks the reliable SISTEM51 mechanical movement, which is characterised by its precision and durability. The watch is water-resistant to 91 metres (300 feet / 9 bar / 50 fathoms) and is therefore ideal for activities in the water – from swimming to snorkelling.

Legibility & luminosity

The hands, the hour indices and the diving scale on the bezel are all fitted with Grade A Super-LumiNova® – this high-quality luminous material ensures excellent legibility, even in poor light or underwater.

Bezel & crystal

The unidirectional rotating bezel in dark blue Bioceramic features a three-dimensional black insert and is also coated with Super-LumiNova® – for precise dive times and an expressive design. The crystal is made of bio-sourced material, which is resilient.

Strap

A special highlight is the NATO strap, made from recycled fishing nets – it is a two-piece strap and gives a clear view of the movement. Matching the case, the pin buckle and loops are also made of turquoise Bioceramic.
